Susan L Strong tries her utmost to balance motherhood with her creative pursuits. Hauling her laptop to orthodontist appointments and sports practices allows her to keep writing without giving up being there for her three sons.

Susan spent years writing as a hobby, but when her youngest started kindergarten she decided it was time to take it seriously. She joined the League of Utah writers and multiple critique groups, honing her skills and building community.

Susan writes and reads across genres, but her love of self-sacrifice and fairy tales seem to always have the greatest pull.

When not writing or reading you can inevitably find her gaming with her husband, friends, or family, crocheting a new project, or hiking the scenic mountains of Utah.
